CISCO 시스코 스위치 호환 모듈 인식 명령어

시스코 스위치에는 시스코 정품 광모듈만 인식이 되고 다른 브랜드 광모듈은 인식이 거의 되지 않습니다.

시스코 정품 광모듈의 경우 가격이 너무 비싸서 구매하기가 쉽지 않은데요

시스코 스위치 호환 모듈 인식을 위해서는 특정 명령어를 사용하면 인식을 시켜서 사용 할 수 있습니다.

 

※ 단 무조건적으로 인식이 된다는 보장은 없다는 점을 말씀드립니다.

 

우선 광모듈 정보에 대해서 알아보겠습니다.

시스코 확인 명령어는 sh idprom interface g1/1 입니다.

앞에 명령어는 동일하고 확인하고 싶은 인터페이스 정보를 입력하시면 됩니다.

그럼 그림과 같은 정보를 확인하실 수 있습니다.

 

시스코 호환 모듈 인식을 진행하기 전에 Gbic의 error disable 기능을 꺼주세요

(config)# no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid

운영하시는 망에 link Trapping 등을 대비하기 위해서 모든 기능을 꺼두는것이 좋습니다.

 

이제 시스코 호환 모듈 인식 명령어를 입력합니다.

(config)#service unsupported-transceiver

※ 이 명령어는 hidden command 이므로 모든 명령어를 키보드로 입력해야 합니다.

 Warning: When Cisco determines that a fault or defect can be traced to
the use of third-party transceivers installed by a customer or reseller,
then, at Cisco's discretion, Cisco may withhold support under warranty or
a Cisco support program. In the course of providing support for a Cisco
networking product Cisco may require that the end user install Cisco
transceivers if Cisco determines that removing third-party parts will
assist Cisco in diagnosing the cause of a support issue.

이제 타 브랜드 밴더사의 광모듈을 삽입하고 sh idprom interface g1/1 정보를 확인해봅시다.

아래와 같이 Lightworks 벤더사 제품이 인식됨을 확인 할 수 있습니다.

※ ASR라우터와 같은 Cisco IOS XR 버전에서는 transceiver permit pid all 명령어를 통해서 해당 인터페이스에 적용하시면 됩니다.
